The African movie scene is one that has managed to be steadily growing in the last couple of years, not only in Nollywood but also in Kenya movies as well.
African actors are starting to gain more and more recognition and this is also allowing for the industry to experience it’s milestones along the way. With the rise of these African actors has also seen a need arise for them in the Hollywood industry where both African actresses and African male actors have been recruited and cast in major films and TV shows.
Here are some African actors that have managed to capture audiences.
Naija movies have been a laughing stock for a long time, but their wide audience and money starting to come in has seen the rise of great actors like Nonso Diobi. Just have a look at the trailer above and see what I am talking about.
Nonso Diobi is a very talented and very well profiled African male actor who has managed to feature in over 60 movies in the last 10 years alone. He has been working the Nollywood scene since the early 2000s and he has made his whole life around this industry too.

Van Vicker is one of the most talented men in the Nollywood and African movie scene by far. His cute and light skin looks really have him in the eyes of the ladies.
Vicker has a Dutch father and his mother has both Liberian and Ghanian blood in her. He started off as a radio presenter and graduated upward to this very popular, very talented African actor.
Hailing from Ghana, Nadia Buari is one of the sexiest African actresses that has ever managed to grace the screens of her viewers. Buari has flawless, smooth skin and she has not bleached to achieve her light skin tone.
Lizz Njagah is one of the pioneers in the Kenyan film industry and she is a stunning beauty as well. She has only managed to get better with age and her skills are still at the same level of perfection that they always were.
Lizz Njagah is engaged to the Director of Jitu Films, Alex Konstantaras, with whom she has borne a beautiful child with.
