You probably hate your job, your boss, or both.
You should probably be thankful, though. There are people who go through worse.
Here is a list of such people.
1 Council Askari
No one even knows where these guys are recruited and/or trained.
You can bet on one thing, though; these dudes are heartless. They have no mercy. They will beat the shit out of a 70-year-old woman and walk away as if that is what normal human beings do.
You would need to have the empathy of a door nail or really desperate to want this job.
2 Kenya Police
There are good cops. Problem is, their halo is lost in the darkness caused by their more corrupt and trigger-happy colleagues.
This is made worse by the fact that in order for one to join the Kenya Police Service, they have to be connected, or have money to bribe their way in.
3 Security Guard
Most security guards can get veery controlling.
Being a security guard in Kenya is akin flirting with death on a daily basis.
You just stand there, rungu or panga in hand, with the expectation that if a guy armed with a Cessna pistol tries to rob your bosses, you'll stop him.
I'll take a hard pass on that career, fam.
A job is a job as long as it is honest, right?
But if you are a bartender, especially a female one, many people will see you as having loose morals.
Drunk patrons will grope you, and give you money hoping to sleep with you. Some will order drinks then refuse to pay up.
Can a career get any worse?
5 House Help
One of the worst jobs.
Cleaning the snot off the children whose mom could not be bothered. Getting shouted at by the boss for stupid reasons.
If the man of the house is the always horny type, they will try to sleep with you.
All that hassle for piss-poor pay.
6 Mortuary attendant
Many people are scared to death by the thought of well, death. They won't go anywhere near a dead body.
But for the guys who work in mortuaries, this is what life is all about. They have to clean bodies of people who died in accidents, massacres, etc.
Would you want such a job? i knwo i wouldn't!
7 Sewage guys
Kenyans have this annoying habit of blocking drainage systems with plastic waste, then bitching about how the government is not doing its job.
When a sewage line gets blocked through misuse, they complain of the stench as if they did not cause it.
When the sewage guy tries to do his job, they will insult him as if he caused the problem in the first place.
